What is Visio LTSC Professional 2024?
Visio LTSC 2024 is the Long-Term Servicing Channel edition of Visio Professional. It is a fixed, self-contained version installed on your own PC rather than a cloud subscription, so the feature set stays the same for the life of the release instead of changing with monthly updates.
That stability is the point of LTSC. Teams that document processes, network topologies, or compliance workflows usually want diagrams to look and behave identically two years from now — which is difficult when the application updates underneath them.
The trade-off is straightforward: you don't get new features added mid-cycle, and cloud collaboration is limited compared with Visio Plan 2. If real-time co-authoring in the browser matters more to you than a one-time cost, a subscription is the better fit.

How to download, install and activate Visio 2024 Professional

- Remove older Visio versions. Uninstall any previous Visio installation first. A common cause of activation failure is an older Visio sitting alongside the new one, not a faulty key.
- Download the installer from the link provided and run it. Choose 64-bit unless you have a specific reason to use 32-bit.
- Open Visio once installation finishes and go to File → Account.
